Is Jimmy Buttler a Shrimp?
Jimmy Butler is no stranger to handling beef the old fashioned way. However, Butler might’ve bit off more beef than he could chew this time around.
Let’s go back to the day when Butler prematurely buried his own grave. It was a gloomy January night in Indiana, no COVID-19 was in sight. Everything was normal. TJ Warren had just committed a hard foul on Jimmy Buckets, which led to a scuffle.
Check out the scuffle below:
Many words and expletives were exchanged between the two. I’m not much of a lip reader, but it’s blatantly obvious to me that Butler called Warren “trash.”
The beef was born and it didn’t stop there.
Butler was called for an offensive foul later in the game and Warren reacted by obnoxiously clapping in his face. Warren was thrown out of the game for this, and Butler blew him a very sentimental goodbye kiss.
Butler still wasn’t done. He posted a picture on instagram of their next matchup which was originally scheduled for March 20. His caption on this post was, “don’t be mad you can’t guard me. we will see what you about in March.”
Then COVID-19 struck, postponing Butler’s plans to embarrass Warren.
Little did Butler know, Warren apparently spent his time off becoming the league’s first Super Saiyan. He has averaged a wild 34 points per game on 59 percent shooting from the field and 54 percent from distance over his first four games in the bubble.
The anticipated showdown between Warren and Butler will finally take place on August 10. This will be one for the ages, and Adam Silver would be smart to throw this matchup up on pay-per-view.
Will the big bad Jimmy Butler be put in his place by the hottest player in the league? Will TJ Warren make his bully eat his words?
I personally can’t wait to find out.
