The holiday season is in full swing and we all have a lot to be thankful for. The Hebrew Hammer is in the spirit, and is obviously thankful for Ezzus’s fantasy collapse. He posted yet another 2-1 record and was one T.J. Hockenson catch away from being perfect. He now improves to 14-19 while Ezzus’s 1-2 blunder has him barely holding a lead at 15-18. Can the Hammer take the lead this week?
SPOILER ALERT: Yessir.
From the Mind of the Hebrew Hammer:
Freak: Brian Hill
After hearing about Todd Gurley’s old man knees acting up earlier in the week, Brian Hill became a hot commodity. With an 8 point projection as the lead back against a poor Vegas rush defense, Hill is a no-brainer.
Pick him up and plug him in. Hill also has a chance to overtake Gurley in his absence due to his string of uninspiring performances.
Freak: Allen Lazard
It’s Lazard season again. With MVS’s questionable to play on Sunday Night, Lazard will assume his regular wide receiver two duties. After being eased into the lineup last week, the stage is set for the lizard man. With a 5 point projection, I, the Hebrew Hammer, solemnly swear that he will outplay ESPN’s mediocre prediction.
Cheeks: Chase Edmonds
Now that Kenyan Drake unfortunately has his normal workload back, Edmonds ceiling AND floor are severely capped. Unless defenses forget to cover him in the redzone like the Seahawks last week, the likelihood of him scoring a TD is slim. I can’t see Edmonds getting enough workload in the receiving game to be a starter against the Patriots this week.
From the Wonderful Mind of Ezzus:
Freak: Devin Singletary
Devin Singletary is going up against the Chargers’ weak run defense. Currently, they rank 15th in rush defense, so I’m surprised Singletary is only projected 9 points. I know he hasn’t put up big numbers the last few weeks, but I think that changes this week.
The Bills need the run game to get going in order to make things easier for Josh Allen. The Bills should get Singletary going early and often, paving the way for a big day. The former 3rd round pick played well in the second half of 2019, I think he does the same in 2020.
Freak: Matt Breida
With the news of Salvon Ahmed being ruled out for Sunday’s game, Breida could go off. ESPN has his projections set at only 5 points. Matthew Berry made a severe miscalculation with this one.
Breida should tear up the Jets on the ground and through the air, a great way to produce huge numbers for your fantasy team. I would not be surprised if he went over 15 points given the fact he’s the number one option this week.
If you’re desperate for a win or in need of a starting fantasy running back, Breida is your man. His high floor and ceiling should help get your team a win in week 12.
Freak: Keelan Cole
With D.J. Chark out this week, Cole becomes the team’s number one receiver. This Jags team is not that good and should be down early against the Browns.
This is the perfect game script for Cole to go off. They will look to pass the ball and Cole will take advantage. With a projection of just 11 points, Cole should easily surpass that number and be closer to 20 points. Any fantasy manager will love this, especially since you can grab him off waivers in most leagues.
